Program Requirements
Each program may have specific requirements. For the individual program descriptions, please visit the Full-time Programs page.
How does PLAR work?
Prior learning can be demonstrated through a challenge or portfolio process. Visit Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition to find out if you should consider PLAR.

What are the admission requirements?

The minimum requirement for international students to apply to any full-time postsecondary program at Cambrian College is an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits), its equivalent, or mature student status.

Note: Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to any Cambrian College program.

Age Limits

There is no age limit for application to Cambrian College. It is, however, preferable for students to be at least 18 years of age. Cambrian assumes no guardianship for underaged students.

Prior Learning Assessment for Life and Work Experience

Cambrian College recognizes that, as an adult learner, you may have gained valuable knowledge and skills in the workplace and through a variety of life experiences. Through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Program, you may be able to acquire college credits for your experiential learning, enabling you to receive a diploma or certificate in less time and with less cost.
